Indications
Prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal and pulmonary strongyloses, cestodoses, fascioliasis and dicrocoelioses. albendazole 300 is ovicidal and larvicidal. it is active in particular on encysted larvae of respiratory and digestive strongyles.
Contraindications
Hypersensitive to albendazole or any components of alben300.
Dosage and administration
Orally:
Sheep and goat
Give 7.5mg of albendazole per kg of body weight
For liver-fluke: give 15mg of albendazole per kg of body weight
Side Effects
Dosage up to 5times the therapeutic dose have been given to farm animals without producing significant side effects.under experimental conditions the toxic effect appears to be associated with anorexia and nausea .the drug is not teratogenic when tested using normal laboratory criteria.
Warning
Sheep and goat must not be slaughter within 10days following last treatment and the milk should not used before 3days of last treatment.
Precaution
Do not administer to female cattle druing first 45days of pregnancy or for 45days after removal of bulls,do not administer to ewes druing the first 30days of pregnancy or for 30days after removal of rams ,consult your veterinarian for assistance in the diagnosis,treatment and control parasitism.

Meat: 10days
Milk: 3 days
